A walk that will take you through the heart of Benalmadena / Tell Me About This Area – Benalmádena / Go to the Home Page


This walk will take you through the old town, the main town and the cost of Benalmadena. It's mostly down hill and should take about 3 hours without stopping. You don't have to do this walk from start to finish. The walk is broken down into stages so you can start and stop wherever you like. There are lots to café bars along the way if you need refreshments. If you are feeling fit and brave you can do the walk starting at the end and walking back to the start – It's mostly up hill.

Stage 1
Time – about 45 minutes
Starts from the Buddhist Stupa and ends at the church in the Pueblo (old town)
You can get to the Stupa by bus or taxi.

Stage 2
Time – about 45 minutes
Starts from the church in the Pueblo and ends at entrance to Tivoli World and Teleferico (cable car ride)

Stage 3
Time – about 45 minutes
Starts from the entrance to Tivoli World and Teleferico (cable car ride) and ends at Castillo El Bil-Bil.

Stage 4
Time – about 45 minutes
Starts from Castillo El Bil-Bil and ends at the Benalmádena Puerto Marina.
