Arroyo de la Miel is situated between Benalmadean Pueblo and Benalmadena Costa. It is a small modern town with it's own distinctive charm, with excellent connections, buses, taxies and in the centre of town you find the train station, which you can get frequent train service connections to Malaga and Fuengirola.

Not far from the train station is Tivoli World entertainment park, the largest family entertainment park on the Costa del Sol and right opposite the entrance to Tivoli World is another favourite tourist attraction on the Coast - the Telecabina (Cable Car) which goes up to the highest point in the Malaga Province almost 800 metres to Mount Calamorro.

Arroyo de la Miel has lots of bars and restaurants. It is a residential town with a working population, shopping centre, post office, banks, etc. It has a beautiful park Parque de la Paloma which is very popular with the children and families.
