Spanish National Holiday – 1st January – Año Nuevo – New Years Day. Spanish National Holiday – 6th January – Dia de los Tres Reyes – Three Kings Day. This is an integral part of the Christmas celebrations with the night of the 5th being the night that children traditionally get their presents. Most towns have a procession on this night with, literally, tons of sweets thrown from the procession to the children lining the route. |
